After School Club
The After School Club offers integrated play for mainstream children and for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities, all aged 4-15, in a purpose-built building with an exciting playground including a multi-use games area for sports, play structures, sand and water play and accessible swings as well as quieter garden areas. Inside there is a large hall, soft-play room, arts and craft room, multi-use games room, reading room and multi-sensory room.
We can provide places for some children who require 1:1 support.
Please contact your Social Worker to find out if you are eligible for short breaks funding to attend services provided by the Log Cabin.
Children are given a two-course home-cooked meal and the day finishes at 6.30pm.
Our transport collects children from special schools, and walking escorts collect children from local schools and bring them to the After School Club, where they can engage in a wide variety of play activities suitable to the age and needs of each individual child.
Transport to and from the Log Cabin can be provided where necessary for children with additional needs whose parents or carers are unable to bring them.
Children must have completed the one-off registration process in order to attend the After School Club.
